Okay, a little history on this story. This particular bit of scribbling began life as an attempt on my part to write myself out of some problems I had created in the early chapters of Wild Rose Country. As a result, the storyline of Wolf River does share some common elements with that of WRC. In fact, Wolf River actually started out with the title of Wild Rose Country as I had intended it to replace my earlier effort. Keep in mind that this was before anyone had really started reading any of my stuff.

As you can guess, this caused more than a little confusion when the readers found the story on anthrofiction.com and then tracked down my homepage to find a completely different story with the same title. Soo... I finally got a round to changing a few things (like the title and the names of the main characters which WR also shared with WRC), fixed more than a few mistakes and am now writing this story in a completely different direction than WRC.

Go, read, enjoy and try not to get too confused about the similarities between this story and WRC. :)
